Rucker Free Richardson

Rucker Free Richardson, 67, died Thursday, February 12, 2015. He was born February 17, 1947 in Searcy a son of the late Justin and Gladys Ross Richardson. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church and was a retired educator, having taught Agriculture in the Parkin, Augusta, and Riverview School Districts as well as ASU Searcy for over 30 years. Rucker could make or fix anything and had spent part of his career as a pipeliner and was a veteran. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ellen Richardson; children, Stacy Witcher (Kent) of Wynne, Robin Stain (Billy) of Mayflower and Justin Richardson (Kristen) of Bald Knob; a brother, Ross Richardson (Carol Anne) of Camarillo, California; grandchildren, Madisyn, Tyler, Griffin, Ben, Henry, Mary Claire, Liberty, and Felicity Witcher; Raegen, Lynden, and Ellison Stain: and Isabelle and Isaac Richardson. Visitation will be Saturday from 6-8 p.m. Services will be conducted Sunday, February 15, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Kent Witcher officiating.
