On Feb. 13, 2015, Our Lord and Savior called home one of his precious angels to be at his side. Caralyn Barbara Verble (81) made her final journey. She was known to many by her beautiful smile and twinkling eyes. Constantly full of energy inspiring those around her to use their God given talents as she certainly did throughout her time on earth. In 1954, she became the first dental hygienist in Hot Springs, with a career that lasted 45 years for dentists Dr. Earl McWherter until his death, Dr. Martin Lax until his passing and ended her great career with Drs Stuart Fleischner & Richard Van Bebber in 1999. Her musical talents and passion have impacted lives through her leadership of children & adult choirs and concerts, adult and children handbell choirs, her piano and organ accompaniments. Many brides have memories of Caralyn playing a major role in their wedding by her playing the organ or by sharing her beautiful voice. She was a member of the Hot Springs Community Chorus under the direction of Dora Jane Ellis. She so enjoyed passing on her piano skills by teaching hundreds of children over the years. Following her retirement, she danced and clogged her way to stardom with national honors as a member of the Tap Masters Dance Troop with the Andrea's Foundation of the Arts. They recently celebrated their 61st anniversary on Jan. 31, 2015 to her beloved husband, David, the love of her life.
