John P. Watson

JOHN P. WATSON, 88, of Little Rock, Ark. passed away on Feb. 10, 2015. Preceding him in death: two children, Jacquelyn Gibson and Myrtis Blocker and one brother, Herbert Watson. He's loving survivors include children, John A. Watson, Billie Hunter, Betsy Cummings and James Watson; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Almeter Ashford and Pearline Watson and a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, 5 p.m. at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 South Chester St. LR, Ark., (501) 372-1305. A repast will follow at Mt. Siani Baptist Church, 8815 West 34th St., Little Rock, Ark.
