Meverree "Meb" Moore

Meverree "Meb" Moore, 92, of Perryville, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015. She was born June 1, 1922, in Damascus, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Homer and Ollie Belle Hartwick. Meb was a charter member of Second Baptist Church of Perryville, Arkansas. She was also a Sunday School Teacher. Meb retired from Perryville School District serving as Secretary to the Superintendent of Schools for 30 years. Meb was preceded in death by her husband, Heburn and son, Jim Moore. She is survived by her children, Sandra and Bill Lamb, Tim Moore and wife, Christa of Conway, Arkansas; grandchildren, Shane and Leslie Lamb of Conway, Arkansas, Celinda (Lamb) and Reese Sparrow of Texas, Mike and Misty Moore of Benton, Arkansas, Lindsey Moore of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Kim (Moore) and Nathan Knight of Clarksville, Arkansas; and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, February 19, at the Second Baptist Church in Perryville with Bro. Richard Gambill officiating. Burial will be at Perryville Ragsdale Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, at the church.
