Elvin Edgar Cleveland

Elvin Edgar Cleveland, 86, of Judsonia, died Monday, February 16, 2015 at Oakdale Nursing Facility in Judsonia. He was born February 25, 1928 in Itawamba, Mississippi, a son of the late E. Dewey and Arvillie Maggie (Miller) Cleveland. He was a retired maintenance supervisor with the Marysville Unified School District in California and a Baptist. He is survived by his former wife of 60+ years, Emma Cleveland; a daughter, Donna Wienckowski of San Mateo, California; three grandchildren, Shawn Wienckowski (Betsy) of San Carlos, California, John Wienckowski (Leena) of San Ramon, California and Sheryle Cattaneo (Chad) of Redwood City, California; great-granddaughter, Tyler Wienckowski; great-grandsons, Chase, Blake, Aidan, Landon, and Grayson Wienckowski and Cody Cattaneo; sister, Fay Hayes of Bald Knob and brother, Winford "Went" Cleveland of Judsonia. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers, Ray, Denver "Dent", Travis, Gene, Mavis, and Orbey Cleveland; two sisters, Dorothy Thomas and Sylvia Brewer. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home. Services will be conducted on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Providence Missionary Baptist Church with Bro.
