Gordon Dwayne Palmer

Gordon Dwayne Palmer passed away Friday, February 19, 2015. He was born on February 3, 1940 to the late Omer and Rosie Lillian Palmer. He was a lifelong resident of the Landmark/Arch Street Community. He was a retired railroad Signalman with Union Pacific Railroad. Preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Joaney Kay Palmer; sisters, Louise Young, Martha Hardin, Elane Koon; two brothers, Aaron and Larry Palmer. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Marilyn Morris Palmer; two sons, Brent (Monica) and Johnny (Stephanie); two grandchildren, Whitney Grace Palmer and Seth Palmer; brothers, Doyle, Tommy (Dean), Frankie (Betty) and Ricky (Deloris) Palmer; sisters, Betty Crook, Bonnie Jett, Peggy Morris, Patsy Barnhill (George), Faye Lynn Jennings and Oma Lou Mellor along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, February 22, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant.
