Laura Ann Hinze, 75, of Benton passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 at her home. She was born May 2, 1939 in Little Rock to the late Harold and Laura Helmich Hill. Mrs. Hinze was a secretary for the ASHTD for over 20 years and was a member of Ten Mile Missionary Baptist Church. She loved sewing, gardening, and singing with the Ready Strummers. Her husband, Wilburn Lee Hinze, one son, Kevin Hinze, and three brothers also preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Ciff Hinze (Laura) of Little Rock, Brad Hinze of Bryant, and Eric Hinze (Donnetta) of Benton; six grandsons, Carter Hinze (Trish), Morgan Wheeler, Grant Hinze, Griffin Wheeler, Travis Crone, and Garrett Hinze; four granddaughters, Jessica Wallace (Jeff), Lauren Hinze, Fallyn Pittman (Josh), and Bailey Bishop; five great-grandchildren, Grace, Gavin, and Grady Wallace and Isabel and Jace Pittman; one brother, Len Hill (Linda) of Avilla; her caregiver and guardian angel, Linda Evans, and other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2015 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Bro. Tony Pheifer officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons and grandson-in-law. Grandson Travis Crone will serve as honorary pallbearer.
