Martha Joshua

Martha "Marty" Harris Joshua entered into eternal peace surrounded by loving family on February, 16, 2015 in Little Rock, Arkansas. A beloved wife, mother, twin sister, daughter-in-law, aunt, cousin, neighbor, friend and business professional; she was born on November 1, 1953 in Lincolnton, Georgia to the late James A. Harris Sr., and Carrie Bell Covington Harris. Marty was preceded in death by her brothers, James A Harris Jr. and John Harris and her son, Ronald "Jr.". Marty's smile was contagious. Her smile was a beautiful smile of love, like an angelic ray of light. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband Michael W. Joshua Sr., daughter, Mary Lee Joshua; son, Michael W. Joshua, Jr.; sisters, Shirley Lanham; twin sister, Mary L. Harris; Idell Harris, Louise Mathis, Fannie H. Livings and Sidonia Renee' Harris; mother-in-law, Thelma Joshua; and a host of in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews, close friends and business associates. Visitation Services: Sunday February 22 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Funeral Services: Monday, February 23 at 1:30 p.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church North Little Rock. Memorial Service: Wednesday February 25 from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. at Good Hope Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia.
