Lila Shorty Evaline Wooten

LILA "SHORTY" EVALINE WOOTEN was born Feb. 1, 1935 in Magnet Cove, Ark. and went to sleep in Christ Feb. 16, 2015 in Little Rock, Ark. Preceded in death by parents, Hettie and Green Williams and siblings, Eugene, Crafton, Herbert and Geanie Williams, Nina Mae Thompson and Nealie Fielder. Survived by children, Martin "Ziggy" Wooten and Lynne Ellen Wooten; brother, Thomas "Pete" Williams; and sisters, Mary Lou Pinson and Colleen Dame. Lila worked 17 years at the Arkansas Press Association and over 20 years in retail. Her ashes will be laid to rest with a private service at the Pleasant Valley MBC Cemetery in Magnet Cove, Ark.
