Ruel Wayne Browning

RUEL WAYNE BROWNING, 93, of North Little Rock, passed away Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015. He was a member of the Scottish Rite, American Legion and a 32 degree Mason. He was also a member of 47th Street Baptist Church and an avid Razorback Fan. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Charlene Pearson Browning; daughter, Pamela Fleming (Jerry); three grandchildren, Alicia Chandler (Wesley), Jeremy Fleming (Charla) and Charity Blackburn (Dale); four great-grandchildren, Brant Chandler, Hayes Fleming, Blayne Fleming and Trey Cobb; siblings, William R. Browning, Donna Plaugher, Ruby Nell Pallmer and Kay Bush; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, A.M. and Blanche Biggs Browning; sister, Betty Sue Jones; and four infant siblings. Memorials may be made to 47th Street Baptist Church, 4700 Pike Avenue, North Little Rock, Ark. 72118. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at 47th Street Baptist Church. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home.
