Mary Jo O'Bryan

Mary Jo O'Bryan, 88, of Cabot, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015. She was born March 2, 1926 in Childress, Texas to the late Joe Henry and Mary Agnes Julian Hankins. Mrs. O'Bryan was both a minister's daughter and a minister's wife. She studied music and played the piano and violin and was an active leader in the church's children's ministry. In addition to her parents, Mrs. O'Bryan was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Hankins. Mrs. O'Bryan is survived by her husband, Harold O'Bryan; her children, Joe O'Bryan of Cabot, Judy Springfield and her husband, Robert, of Cedar Lake, Ind., Jon O'Bryan of Cabot and Jeff O'Bryan and his wife, Kris, of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren; Jessica Wallace, Stephanie O'Bryan, Eric O'Bryan, Katie Bush, Shannon O'Bryan, Erin O'Bryan and Mary Feldman as well as two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015 at First Baptist Church with Brother Dick Avey officiating with burial following at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
