Joy Dean Haggard

On February 20, 2015 heaven was graced with the presence of a Mother to all. Joy Dean Haggard, 76 of East End, wife of Robert Charles Haggard Jr. of 39 years, led a life of love and selflessness, giving all she had and more to those in need. She was the kind of mother and friend that you could rely on and a mentor to model your life after. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Earnest and Mary Ina Harmon Ramey; three sisters, Florence Bellinger, Viona Beck, Carolyn HyGail; one brother, Milton Ramey and her cherished daughter, Dianne Barnes. Survivors include her three sons, Nathan Ellis of East End, Clayton Ellis of Sheridan and Robert Haggard III of Searcy and a daughter, Connie Howard of Cabot; two sisters, Helen Golden of Mt. Ida and Belva Ivy of Indianapolis, Indiana; two brothers, Robert Ramey and Carlisle Ramey of El Dorado; eight beloved grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many loved nieces, nephews, family and friends. Reception visitation will be at Roller Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800 in Little Rock on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Chicot Road Baptist Church, Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 10 a.m. with burial services following at Holloway Cemetery.
