Wilma Sue Allen

Wilma "Sue" Allen, 75, of Fayetteville, passed from this life Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at Katherine's Place in Fayetteville. Sue lived in Fayetteville since 2001, coming from Jonesboro. While living in Jonesboro she was a member of the Nettleton Church of Christ. Sue was born on December 16, 1939 to the late Bethel and Joycie Barnes in Kennett, Missouri. In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Allen. Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Vail of Fayetteville; one son, Eric (Michele) Allen of Savanah, Georgia; three brothers: Darrel (Ellen) Barnes of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Dale (Sandy) Barnes of Heber Springs; Eddie (Melba) Barnes of Cherokee Village; four sisters: Delorise Fair of Sikeston, Missouri; Shelby Scohfield of Chicago, Illinois; Glenda (Jim) Gray of St. Louis, Missouri; Terry (Buddy) Mills of Lubbock, Texas; three grandchildren: Heath, Reece and Blaine Allen all of Savanah, Georgia. Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 2 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Buddy Mills, and David Burgess officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
