Detrater Almeko Campbell, 41, of Little Rock, born February 6, 1973 in Memphis, Tenn. to Detrater and Dianne Campbell departed this earthly life on January 6, 2015 after battling cardiomyopathy. Meko graduated from Central High school in 1991 and attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Meko leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Detrater and Diane Campbell, a wife, Lontonia Campbell, his baby sister, Iris (Tray) Buggs of Raleigh, North Carolina, his God siblings: Dowayne Peterson Jr., Sheree (Eric) Williams, his children, TaLun Campbell, Kierra Dancy, Kayla (Marcell) Sanders, Charmeka Campbell and step-daughter Keara Houston; seven grandchildren, two brother, four sisters, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Henry and Lola Hite, paternal grandmother, Christine Campbell and brother, Raymone Campbell.
