Lenore Frances "Fran" Morton

Lenore Frances "Fran" Morton, 93, of Little Rock was born on July 7, 1921 in Decatur, Arkansas and went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 12, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, John Morton and two brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Penor and her husband Joe of Little Rock. Fran was a caring and wonderful person who was thoughtful and kind. She had a friendly smile and treated others as she would want to be treated. She enjoyed sports especially football and was a great Razorback fan. Some of her favorite hobbies included painting and crossword puzzles. She was also an avid bridge player and loved playing BINGO at the Presbyterian Village Lodge with friends. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and lived at Presbyterian Village in Little Rock for the past several years where she had many friends and did volunteer work in the gift shop. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healy & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 West 12th Street in Little Rock with burial at Decatur Cemetery in Decatur, Arkansas on Friday at 1 p.m.
