Sallie Mae White, age 93, of North Little Rock, departed this life Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Northridge Healthcare, NLR. She was born October 6, 1921 in Weldon, Ark. to Milton and Rosie Davis (Denton) of Weldon, Arkansas. Mrs. White was a member of McAlmont Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Rosie Davis; aunt and uncle, Pearl and Leroy Carter; spouse, Willie White; son, James Willie White, brothers, Milton Joe Davis Jr. of Los Angeles, Calif.; and Alvester Petty of Gary, Indiana. Mrs. White is survived by her five daughters, Mable Mullen, Frenchelle White, Roxiann Carter of North Little Rock; Willia Mae Bogard (Gean) of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Martha White of Little Rock; six sons, Robert White (Shirley) of Little Rock; Lynn White (Catherine) of Jackson, Miss.; David White (Wilma Jean) of Sherwood, Ark., Eddie White of North Little Rock; Jerry White (Jackie) of Shreveport, La.; and Donald White of Jacksonville, Fla; a special niece, Francella Balentine of Newport, Ark.; 28 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; 17 great–great-grandchildren; along with a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be Friday, 6- 7 p.m. at Robinson Mortuary, LR. Funeral: Saturday, 11 a.m. at McAlmont Church of Christ, NLR, Ark.
