RONALD CAMPEA, 64, of North Little Rock, Ark., passed away Nov. 26, 2016. He was born Sept. 9, 1952, in Chicago, Ill., to John and Helen (Charlton) Campea. Ron was a huge Chicago Cubs fan and absolutely loved to cook. His specialty was raisin meatballs with a secret Italian sauce that was perfected over the family for generations. Ron was loving, never late, always unique, and often very sarcastic. He was a proud and active 32nd Degree Mason and lifetime member. Ron was a food pantry volunteer and often ran in charitable 5k races. Ron was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 36 years, Cindy Campea; and sister, Linda Davis. Survivors include his son, Michael Allen Campea of England, Ark.; daughter Dawn Michelle Campea Brigman of North Little Rock; brother, Robert Campea of Hot Springs; sister, Suzanne Wittenberg (Rodney) of Hot Springs; grandchildren, Austin Campea and Kira Brigman; great-grandchild, Jeremiah Campea; one niece and two nephews. A celebration of Ron's life will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tom Ackerman officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery.
