Jo Ann Greene

Jo Ann Greene, born Friday, Aug. 12, 1932, the loving wife of Herb Greene, entered into her eternal home Thursday in her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 3 at 2 p.m. at Dermott Baptist Church. Reverend Wil Pounds and Reverend Jerry Starnes will officiate. Interment will follow at Collins Cemetery. Jo Ann was one of nine children born to the late Lottie Lucille Brunson Lee and the late John Franklin Lee. Jo Ann was a life long resident of Dermott and member of Dermott Baptist Church. She retired from Dermott Public Schools in 1995 after 30 years of service. Jo Ann loved her family and flowers. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Raymond J. Lee, Robert K. Lee, John R. Lee, & Norma Jean Sheffield. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Herb Greene; her daughter, Donna Marie Hill (Mack) of Corsicana, Texas and her son, Darrell Kemp Greene (Stacey) of Memphis, Tenn.; four siblings: C.F. Lee of Stuttgart, Ark., Martha Freeman of Mobile, Ala., Becky Knuckles of Houston, Texas, & Renee Price of Monticello, Ark. Jo Ann was blessed with four grandchildren: Jennifer Reynolds Baker (Rodney) of Cypress, Texas, Jonathan Reynolds (Amy) of Collins, Ark., Claire & Sydney Greene of Conway, Ark.; five great-grandchildren, & many nieces and nephews. Her pallbearers will be Rodney Baker, Joe Bittle, Michael Edward, Kim Ellington, Jonathan Reynolds, Lamar Reynolds, & Tyler Reynolds.
