Lorene M. Langbein

Lorene M. Langbein, 96, of Springdale, passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2016 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale peacefully with her daughters by her side. She was born Nov. 11, 1919 in Texas to Vicente and Stella Lopez. Lorene retired at the age of 70. She operated an in-home daycare for 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Langbein; her parents; a son, Jerry; a daughter, Kathy Bailey; son-in-law, Don Shackelford; grandson, Steven Shackelford; one sister and one brother. She is survived by one son, Ed Langbein and wife, Nancy of Fayetteville; two daughters, Lynette Shackelford of Springdale and Gail Rogers and husband, Jim of Jenks, Okla.; a very special daughter-niece, Sandy Green of Rogers; one brother, Danny Lopez of Broken Arrow, Okla..; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
