Ethel Louise Edds

Ethel Louise Edds, 86, of Little Rock passed away January 4, 2016. She was born January 28, 1929 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Ethel was a loving mother and grandmother. She was an avid gardener and kept an immaculately clean house. Ethel enjoyed decorating her house for every holiday. She was a long time member of Bible Doctrine Church. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, R. M. and Eva Vickroy; her husband, Joe Edds; son, Joe Edds Jr.; great-grandson, Alex Michael Edds; one brother, R. S. "Buddy" Hawkins; and one sister, Gertrude Fallon. Ethel is survived by daughter, Olivia Cary (Dwayne); grandchildren: Mark Edds (Shannon) and Jason Van Pelt (Heather); great grandchildren: Kaitlyn Kronberg, Jackson Edds, Parker Edds and Joshua Edds; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. A visitation will be held Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Friday, January 8, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Mountain Valley Cemetery in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
