Shaquille "Shaq" Nicholson

Shaquille "Shaq" Nicholson, 24, of Springdale, Ark. passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in Springdale. He was born April 11, 1991 in Fayetteville, Ark. to Patrick Nicholson and Carmalita (Bradley) Nicholson. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved horses and horseback riding. He was also a member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Dorothy M. Nicholson. He is survived by his mother and father both of Springdale, Ark., one sister, Aaliyah Nicholson of Springdale, Ark., maternal grandparents, James and Martha Bradley of Springdale, Ark., paternal grandfather, James Nicholson of Monticello, Ark., maternal great-grandmother, Margaret Smith of Fayetteville, Ark., two uncles, Brett Bradley and wife Shawna of Fayetteville, Ark., Torrance Bradley of Springdale, Ark., two aunts, Deneshia Simpson of Springdale, Ark., Stacee Nicholson Reese and husband Stanley of Little Rock, Ark., and many great-aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8th from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Funeral Services will be held 1 o,n,, Saturday, January 9th at St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Fayetteville with Reverends Paul E. Davis and Reverend Curtiss P. Smith officiating.
