Georgeanna Childers

Georgeanna "Geanna" Childers, 19, of Searcy, left this world January 6, 2016. She was born January 6, 1997 at Searcy. She was a member of Whitney Lane Family Worship Center in Kensett and a senior at Searcy High School. Her favorite subject in school was math; she loved all of her teachers, and gave each a special unique nickname. She always had a special connection with children, enjoying caring for and playing with her little cousins as well as children at church; and she was always up for a game of dominos. She was preceded in death by her mother, Niki Childers in 2002; as well as maternal great grandparents, Bill Lawrence; Cecil and Vinnie Childers. She is survived by her father, Eric Watson of Pine Bluff; brother, Nikolas Childers of Searcy; two sisters, Evan Danille Watson and Celicia Ben; maternal grandparents, Saadia and Larry Childers of Searcy; maternal great-grandmother, Mary Lawrence; paternal grandparents, Sharon and Fred Watson; four aunts, Katie Petrus, Vinessa Childers, Tasha Burroughs, and Tonya Larson (Shawn); one uncle, Porter Smith; as well as a host of extended family and friends. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Whitney Lane Family Worship Center in Kensett followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Kensett Cemetery.
