Winona Faye Nolan

Winona Faye Nolan, 79, of Conway, went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 7, 2016. She was born February 12, 1936 in Saltillo to the late Alonzo and Ola Walls Martin. Winona was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, William "Bill" Nolan, brother, John Martin, and sister, Martha Sanders. Winona was a faithful member of Oak Bowery Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing in the church and serving people. Winona loved to cook for her family and friends. She also enjoyed grocery shopping and spending time at home. Winona was a Godly mother and wife who loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren. Winona is survived by her sons, Marty Nolan (Rhonda), Tim Nolan (Toni), grandchildren, Cody Nolan, Erin Nolan and Zachary Nolan, sisters, Christine Kelley, Sue McGuire and Jane Harris, brothers, Larry Martin and Roger Martin (Linda) all of Conway, and a special friend, Lauren Waller. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 9th at Oak Bowery Baptist Church, with Rev. Matt Corkran, Bro.Tim Nolan, and Bro. Steve McMillan officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bowery Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Lonnie Martin, Barney Burrow, Cody Nolan, Steve Farrior, Rick Kelley, Shane Martin, Mark Harris, Jody Sheets, and Jeff Sanders.
