Yancy J. Hooks, 63, of Little Rock transitioned on Wednesday, January 6, 2016. He was born in Little Rock, Ark. to Alberta (Bill) Hooks.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Alberta; sister, Ernestine; and brothers, Benny and Terry. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 39 years, Linda Hooks, and children, Crystal and Shayla, Yancy (Christal), LaSonya (Jeffrey), Krisharna (Matthew) and Jerold, 15 grandchildren; siblings, Bobbie, Agnes (James), Khaleelah, Joyce, Jerry (Ruby), Rome, William, Freddie, Don and John and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016, 11 a.m., at St. Mark Baptist Church, 5722 W. 12th Street, Little Rock, Ark. 72204. Family Hour will be on Sunday, January 10, 2016, 5-7 p.m., at Second Baptist Church in the Old Sanctuary, 1709 John Barrow Road, Little Rock, Ark. 72204.
