Hazel Orena Loy

HAZEL ORENA WEST LOY, 99, of North Little Rock, passed away Jan. 8, 2016. She was born on May 19, 1916 in Cord, Ark., to the late Oscar Lee and Lydia Oney West. Hazel was a long-time member of Lynch View Missionary Baptist Church (now North View Missionary Baptist Church). She is now reunited in heaven with her parents; brother, Virgil West; and husband, Carlton William. Survivors include daughter, Linda Rice Nelson (Dan); grandchildren: Danny Rice (Heather), Jennifer Rice, Miranda Rice, and Robin Smith (Nick); great-grandchildren: Ric Rice, Brandee Rice, Jace Sorrells, Avery Marvin, Maddox Smith, and Adley Smith; and great-great-grandchild, Sean Bradlee Rice. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Woodland Hills in Jacksonville and Odyssey Hospice for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held Monday at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F.
