A member of the St. Andrew A.M.E. Church. Survivors: two daughters, Sonja Williams, and Tisha Newsome; one grandchild; one brother, Wardell Newsome; three sisters, Beverly Smith (Elton), Patricia and Rita Newsome; uncles; aunts; nephews; nieces; cousins and friends.
