Carroll Douglas Jackson

Carroll Douglas Jackson, age 73, of Lonoke passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. He was born September 20, 1942 in Alpine, Arkansas to the late L.C. and Leone Jackson. He was a United States Army veteran and a lifelong auto mechanic. Mr. Jackson enjoyed restoring antique cars, selling cars and collecting cars. He will always be remembered as a proud father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Maryetta Jackson. He is survived by his children; Lynetta Elaine Kirk and her husband Bobby, Everett Douglas Jackson, Gregory Brown Jackson and his wife Sandra, grandchildren; Meghann Weatherly, Victoria Jackson, Alex Jackson, Tre' Kirk, and Braden Jackson one sister Wanda Ward and one brother Luther Jackson. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2016 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
