Harry "H.B" Howard, 96, of Little Rock passed away on January 12, 2016. He was born January 11, 1920 in Sharp County, Arkansas to Holly Jackson Howard and Aurora Magnolia Christenbury. He is preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Zela Maye Rodgers; two sons, Harvey Howard (Sue) of Batesville, Arkansas and Dwight Howard (Vicki) of Little Rock; daughter Shelia Cruce (Terry) of Little Rock; sister, Emily Sue Mauldin of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren, Aaron Howard (Theresa), Amanda Howard, Holly Bland, Hayden Cruce (Megan), Katie Burrup (Scott), Cody Howard and seven great-grandchildren. Harry was a commercial bus driver for over 40 years. During his career he received many awards for his accomplishments. He achieved safe driver recognition for one million, two million and three million miles of driving accident free. He was well known as a bus driver that was safe and professional. He also drove charter buses in the Little Rock area for the local athletic teams. He loved hunting, all sports, especially baseball. He was a longtime member of the Church of Christ. Harry was a devoted, loving and caring family man who spent all of his available time with his family and helping others. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211 (501) 224-8300. A second visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m., Friday, January 15, 2016 with funeral service to follow at 10:30 a.m. at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Cave City.
