John Calvin Brown Sr., 68, of McCrory, died Monday, January 4 at White County Medical Center in Searcy. Three sons, four daughters, three brothers, seven sisters, 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends survive him. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 16 at 2 p.m. at St. John Baptist Church, 1002 Highway 64 East in Augusta. Interment will be private.
