Bob Coffman, age 81, of Morrilton, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016. He was born March 25, 1934 in Hector, Arkansas, son of the late Farris and Dorothy Coffman. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, past President of the Morrilton Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club, and the Jaycees. He was an announcer for the Morrilton High School Devil Dogs football team for KVOM for 22 years, a member of the SCCPSF, Community Service Properties and numerous other boards. Bob retired from Coca-Cola, Dr. Pepper Bottling Company in 1998 after 47 years of service. During his career Bob and Bonnie traveled throughout the world as one of Coca-Cola, Dr. Pepper's top sales representative. He is survived by his son, Ray Coffman of Morrilton; daughters, Martha Bostic of Morrilton and Donna Coffman of Sherwood; brothers, Vance Coffman (Jeannie) of DeValls Bluff, Arkansas and Gary Coffman of Morrilton; sisters, Betty Coffman of Greneda, Mississippi, Linda Fields (Dennis) of Port Neches, Texas and Brenda Graves (Jerry Don) of Atkins, Arkansas; one granddaughter; and four great grandchildren of Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Bonnie and daughter-in-law, Emily Brooks Coffman of Morrilton. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 16, at Harris Funeral Home with Bro. Sonny Harvison and Rev. Ben Rowell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. The family would like to thank Home Health and Arkansas Hospice for the care they gave Bob.
