Christine Ross Triplett

Christine Ross Triplett, of Lewisville, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016. Mrs. Triplett was born December 10, 1928 in Lee County, Arkansas. She was retired from Triplett Timber and Realty, served on the board of directors at Peoples Bank in Lewisville, and various local boards and committees. Mrs. Triplett was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lewisville and served with the WMU and Finance Committee and other committees. Mrs. Triplett was preceded in death by her husband, W.H. Triplett, Jr; son, Curtis Turner; and siblings, John Ross, Chuck Ross, and Ann Hamilton. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Turner of Hope, Ark., Doug Turner and wife, Cassie of Lewisville, Ark.,, and Ken Turner and wife, Karen of New Iberia, La.; two step-sons, Will and Clark Triplett; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special gratitude to Serenity Hospice of Texarkana. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, Ark.
