Pamela Joann Deen Bachman, 63, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 at her residence. She was born January 13, 1953 in Springdale, Arkansas. She was the daughter of James Bernard Deen and Patricia Lou Vanzant Deen. She was preceded in death by her father, James Deen. Pamela is survived by her mother, Patricia Deen of Rogers; two sons, Dominic Lopez and his wife Lacey, and granddaughter Adriana of Rogers; Trevor Lopez of Rogers; sister, Patti Gay and her husband Chuck, of Rogers; niece, Samantha Wood and her husband Chris, and great-nephew, Lincoln of Austin, Texas; niece, Natalie Gay and great-nephew, Erly of Rogers; nephew, Anthony Gay of Little Rock. Pam attended Springdale Public Schools until she moved to Bakersfield, California in her sophomore year where she graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1971. She was a 1991 graduate of Bakersfield College with a degree in nursing. She was a registered nurse for many years and, in particular, loved assisting in the operating room. She loved to read, exercise to the beat of the music, roller skate, and dance. She also loved to spend time with her family and friends. Pam maintained relationships with childhood friends and developed a strong network of friends in her professional career. Pam attended First United Methodist Church of downtown Rogers. Visitation will be at 1 p.m., followed by her memorial service and celebration of her life at 2 p.m.on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at First United Methodist Church located in downtown Rogers with Rev. Sandra Wanasek officiating. Inurnment will be at Sonora Cemetery immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas, 16 W. Colt Square Drive, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72703.
