Johnny Palmer

Johnny Palmer, 43, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 surrounded by his loved ones. He fought a brave battle against cancer. Johnny was a member of Sylvan Hills United Methodist Church. Johnny is preceded in death by his father, Gordon D. Palmer, and his twin sister, Joanie Kay Palmer. He is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie; his mother, Marilyn Palmer of Little Rock; son Seth Lee Palmer of Benton; brother, Brent Palmer (Monica) of East End; his mother-in-law, Annette Lilly; and countless friends and other special relatives. He was a loving person always willing to help others. Johnny was retired from Arkansas Building Authority and enjoyed golf and racing. A celebration of Johnny's life will be held 11:30 a.m., Saturday, January 23rd, 2016 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home in Sherwood, Arkansas with Rev. Brittany Richardson Watson officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m., until service time on Saturday at Rest Hills. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Arkansas chapter of the American Cancer society.
