Carroll Henry Ward, 71, of Almyra, passed away on Jan. 24, 2016. He was born on July 4, 1944 to Milton, Sr. and Eva Waters Ward. He was a used car dealer. He married Francis Christine Keaton on Dec. 29, 1962.
Carroll was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Christine Keaton Ward; one son, Anthony Ward; and one brother, Virgil Ward.
Survivors include his children: Anita Ward, Tonya Brickey, Greg Ward, Shawn Ward (Candi), Lanny Ward, and Tiffany McCarley (Derrick); 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Milton Ward, Jr.; and two sisters, Hazel Adams and Barbara Johnson.
Visitation will be Jan. 25 from 5-7 p.m. at Essex Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00, Jan. 26 at the General Assembly and Church of the First Born with burial in Forks LaGrue Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home. www.essexfuneralhome.com.
