PATRICIA ANN HOPKINS JOLLY, 80, of North Little Rock passed away January 24, 2016. She was born in Alix, AR to the late Ray and Ruth Hopkins. Pat was a graduate of North Little Rock High School and Arkansas State Teachers College (now University of Central Arkansas). She was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority, serving her local chapter as president. She was also a cheerleader at both the high school and college level. Pat married Don Jolly in 1957 and was his loving wife for 59 years. Together they raised two wonderful and caring children. She was a retired elementary school teacher with the North Little Rock School District. Pat was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church in North Little Rock and the George Martin Sunday School Class. She loved spending time at Mountain Harbor Resort on Lake Ouachita, but the thing she cherished most was being "Grand" to her five grandsons. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Wanda Arnett. She is survived by her husband Don, son, Brad Jolly (Lisa) of Hot Springs, daughter, Cynthia Byrd (Bill) of North Little Rock, two sisters, Barbara Hopkins Hartwick and Susan Collie (Don), both of North Little Rock, five grandsons, Matt Jolly, Alex Jolly, Hayden Byrd, Spencer Byrd, and Weston Jolly, as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held on January 27 at 11 a.m. at Lakewood United Methodist Church, 1922 Topf Road, North Little Rock. Interment will be at Rest Hills Cemetery in Sherwood, Ark. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Arkansas or Lakewood United Methodist Church. Arrangements are by Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home (501-758-1170).
