Marilyn Joan Emerson Gay

Marilyn Joan Emerson Gay, 79, of Springdale, passed away on January 26, 2016. She was born on March 6, 1936 in Iowa to Carl Owen Emerson and Audrey Conard Emerson. Marilyn was an artist and enjoyed Beaver Lake. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. As owner and operator of Emerson Monument Company her creative talents enabled her to serve regional communities. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Holly Cox. Survivors include one son, Denton Gay (Kay), two daughters, Marlene Anderson and (Mike) and Melinda Gay (Kevin Inkster) all of Springdale; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 28 at Sisco Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
