Christopher Stephens Allen, 32, of Little Rock passed away, January 25, 2016. He was born in Little Rock, November 1, 1983 to Beckham Allen and Karla Furrow Allen. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Jamie Marie Allen of Memphis, Tennessee and Jennifer Hernandez of Little Rock; two brothers, Corey Allen of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Blue Allen of Little Rock, Arkansas; maternal grandmother, Cheri Furrow of Little Rock, Arkansas. Christopher graduated from Lutheran High School and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Geology with a Minor in Environmental Geology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2013. Throughout college he worked as an EMT with Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services (MEMS). He co-founded a non-profit organization, Ozark Water Projects, with his parents. Through this organization he traveled to Africa and Haiti and assisted in installing water purification systems. Christopher will be remembered for his explosive personality and as a kind and caring friend. He loved animals, often adopting and/or rehabilitating strays. He was a world traveler from a young age living in Saudi Arabia and Scotland in his childhood. As an adult he enjoyed many hobbies such as hiking, cooking, ping pong, golf, and anything geology related. Above all he valued spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed dearly by those who loved him. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 29, 2016 at the St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2223 Durwood Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72207.
