Grace Darlene Root

Grace Darlene Root 68 of Wheaton, Missouri passed away January 26, 2016 in Springdale. She was born December 30, 1947 in Lebanon, Missouri the daughter of Herman DeWitt and Ruth Elizabeth Arnold Pendley. She formerly worked for Tyson's Foods and a member of the Pentecostal Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bobby & Billy Pendley; two sisters, Mary Jane Pendley and Martha Presley and one great-granddaughter, Addison Elizabeth Walling. She is survived by her children Brenda Munday and husband Charlie of Wheaton, Missouri; Tim Root and wife Marsha and Glen Root all of Pineville, Missouri; three granddaughters, Amy Walling and husband Steven; Amanda Munday and Katie Gundel and husband Clarence; three great-granddaughters, Lily and Sydney Walling and Alycia Root; two great-grandsons, Austin Walling and Mitchell Gundel; three brothers, Clyde Pendley and wife Ruby; Ronnie Pendley and wife Alline and Donnie Pendley and wife Diane; two sisters Maxine Cotton and Joyce Arnold. Visitation: 2 to 3 p.m. Friday with services at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers with Pastor Dave Hadsell officiating.
