Jackson W Meeker

Jackson W. Meeker left his world January 25, 2016, from a long illness of stroke, COPD and Dementia. He was born August 21, 1938 to Kenneth and Grace Meeker of Chillicothe, Ohio. He spent his youth in Ohio and moved to California in the 50's, he also served in the Air Force Reserves in his 20's. Jackson moved to Rogers, Arkansas in 2003, he built his own cabin in the Ozarks where he would say he felt the most "Tucked in." He had a wonderful sence of humor and loved people, politics and music. Jackson was a design engineer by trade. His favorite pastime was Carpentry, (boating and oil painting in his younger years.) He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Meeker of 34 years, who he would always call "His Angel", also left behind his sister, Linda Chitwood of San Jose, California; children Steve Schmitz of Rogers, Chris & Laura Cunningham of Ohio, along with two grandchildren Ashley and Abby Cunningham and two great-grandchildren; also farewell to one niece and several nephews and good friends. Jackson's wishes were to be cremated with no fuss over his remains. He was loved and will be missed mightily. Online condolences to www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com. Arrangements by Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers.
