William Eugene DeVazier

After a brief illness, "Bill" DeVazier of Forrest City, Arkansas died at the age of 81. He was born October 11, 1934 to James Alvin and Mabel Schmidt DeVazier. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. A dedicated friend, mentor, golf buddy and comforter too many. He enlisted in the Air Force from 1952-1956 and continued serving from 1956-1969 in the Air Force Reserves. He was employed with Nat Buring Packing Company (King Cotton) from 1964-1984. After retiring, he helped his son Bill, Jr with his business, DeVazier Distributing. He was preceded in death by his wife: Anna Lou DeVazier, parents, brother: Jim DeVazier. Survivors include: sons: "Bill" DeVazier, Jr, "Jim" DeVazier, daughters: Bonnie Snell, Donna Rogers, brother: David DeVazier, sisters: Francis Anderson, Diane Thomason, grandchildren: Bryan Coons, Lacey Coons Gee, Jackson Snell, Brooks Morgan, Blake Morgan, Holly DeVazier Adams, Zane DeVazier.
