Anna Works

Anna Hyde Camp Works, 97, of Sheridan, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at her home. She was born March 15, 1918 in the Hardin Community, daughter of Charles and Sarah Taylor Hyde. Mrs. Works was reared and educated in Sherrill. She enjoyed quilting, making dolls, working puzzles and being with family. Mrs. Works retired from the West Bend Company. She was a member of the Church of God. Mrs. Works was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Lee Works, whom she married March 11, 1950, in Pine Bluff; a son, Michael Works; brothers, Eugene and Clifford Hyde; and sisters, Ruth Buckley and Ruby Moore. Survivors include her sons, Rickey Works (Margaret) of Pine Bluff and Ronnie Rogers of Sheridan; daughters, Diane Works of Sheridan and Mary Ellen Camp Parker (Jesse) of Woodlawn; five grandchildren, Pamela Clark, Jesse Parker, III, Penny Noyes, Sara Works and Rainey Dawn; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a special family friend, Davia Phillips. Visitation will be Saturday, January 30, 2016, 1 p.m. until service time at Robinson's. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, January 30, 2016 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Albert Davis and Reverend Travis Creekmore officiating.
