Shirley Anne Garnett

Shirley Anne Garnett born on Oct. 30, 1937 to Douglas & Doris Hardy of Burlinton, Vermont passed away April 8, 2017; leaving behind sisters, Mary of Burlington, Vermont & Joyce of Tyler, Texas; son, Steven Garnett, wife Sherry Benton, Ark.; daughter, Dana Garnett, St. Petersburg, Fla., grandchildren, Buddy Garnett, spouse Jessica, Sherry Tyler, great-grandchildren, Savannah, Dawson, Sophie, and J.D. A 1960's pioneer of women, Shirley succeeded as one of the first female executives in insurance underwriting. She volunteered as a Master Gardener for ASU and trail guide at Pinnacle Park. Shirley's passion was the study of environmental science and educating others on light and noise pollution.
