Bill (Thomas William) Lafferty

Bill (Thomas William) Lafferty, 64 years old of (on the Mountain) Alexander, Arkansas, peacefully passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017. He was born on March 12, 1953 to the late Tom and Elizabeth Ann Lafferty in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his loving parents and his grandparents, W.A. and Vera Jones. Survivors include his long-time friend, Dennis Proctor; a sister, Cara Ann Lafferty; two brothers, Drew (Nita) Lafferty and Alex Lafferty; and one nephew, Ethan Lafferty, along with loving aunts and uncles and cousins. Bill worked for the family business, Lafferty Equipment Co. for many years. His passion was playing music with a large extended music family that he loved and with whom he enjoyed playing since 1978. A talented musician, Bill played the clarinet in his high school band and also enjoyed playing the guitar, mandolin, bagpipes, fiddle and button accordion.
