Mary "Peggy" Peterson, 82, of Rogers passed away August 1, 2017. Peggy was born December 29, 1934 in Gerty, Oklahoma the daughter of West Virginia and Stella Stallings Lewis. She graduated from Gerty High School in May 1952. Married her husband Robert July 26, 1952. They moved to Odessa, Texas where they made their home for 47 years. Then moved to Rogers in 1999. After her husband retired in 1984 they traveled to many places and spent winters in Arizona in their motorhome. Peggy had many hobbies, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert of 59 years, her parents, three brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her two sons, Jimmy Peterson of Rogers and Billy Peterson of Odessa, Texas; five grandchildren, Steven Peterson, Stephanie Elliott, Stacie Haas all of Topeka, Kansas; Mandy Fuentes and Robert Peterson of Odessa. Texas; and 11 great-grandchildren and her wonderful extended family in South Carolina who she loved so very much.
