Patty Louise Harkins, age 62, of Benton, passed away Friday, Aug. 4, 2017 at 7 p.m. at her vacation home in Mammoth Springs, Ark. She went home to be with the Lord while in the presence of her husband of 43 years and her daughter who was also her caretaker. Patty was born Aug. 27, 1954 in Benton, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Zella Mae Witham and two sisters, Linda Hill and Shirley Pearson.
She is survived by her husband, Doyle Harkins; daughter, Hope Nash and husband Tim of Mammoth Springs; son, Keith Harkins and wife April of Haskell; six grandchildren, Zachary Whitener, Dillion Jett, Breanna Lee, Marshal McPherson, Haley Davis and Justice Hebert; great-grandson, Sawyer Neil Whitener; four brothers, Carl Witham Jr. of Benton, Donny Witham of Haskell, Robbie Witham of Perla and Ricky Witham of Glen Rose; three sisters, Zella Moore of Glen Rose, Sylvia Witham of Malvern and Veronica Miller of Malvern and a host of nieces and nephews. Patty will be sorely missed by her tremendous loving family. Pallbearers will be Dylan Jett, David Blaire, Zachary Whitener, Marshal McPherson, Timothy Nash and Brian Pearson. Honorary pallbearers will be Samuel Glaze and Mark Witham.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8 at Ashby Funeral Home.
