Janie Mae Rodgers, 61, of Dermott, died August 9, at McGehee Health and Rehabilitation Center. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Lawrence Brown, Bryan Brown, Brandon Brown, Shawanna Brown and Iris Brown; 16 grandchildren 27 great-grandchildren; brothers, Willie Scrugges, Henry Scrugges, John Scrugges, James Patterson and Robert Mitchell; sisters, Sarah Williams Brown, Janet Brown, Deva McGehee and Irene Scrugges. Family hour 6-7 p.m. Friday at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service, 11 a.m. Saturday at Ash Street Missionary Baptist, Ash and Trotter Streets, Dermott.
