Esther Juanita Marter, 88 of Benton, passed away Wednesday. She was born on May 8, 1929 to the late James and Willie McCrory in Holly Grove, Arkansas. Esther was a member of First Baptist Church of Benton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles Marter Jr., five brothers, three sisters. Survivors, son, Charles Marter III and daughter, Carolyn Cole, three grandchildren.
Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 1 p.m. Saturday with Bro. Karvin Adams officiating, burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 noon until 1 p.m. on Saturday before services. On line guestbook at www.ashbyfuneralhome.com.
