Margaret Earle Pugh

Margaret Earle Pugh passed away in the early morning August 14, 2017 at her home in Dallas, Texas. She was born March 31, 1951 in Hamburg, Arkansas, and graduated from Hamburg High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She is predeceased by her mother and father, Mary Margaret Pugh and George Butler Pugh Sr., and her life partner, William Solomene of Dallas, Texas. Margaret Earle Pugh is survived by her brothers, Griff Gregory (Bob Pugh) of Scottsdale, Arizona and George Butler Pugh Jr. of Saint Simons Island, Georgia; her two nieces, Ashley Pugh Carroll of Macon, Georgia and Melissa Pugh Anderson of Richmond, Virginia, as well as many cousins scattered across the country. A 1973 graduate of Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, Margaret Earle spent her career as an international flight attendant for American Airlines, residing for a decade in New York City, New York and later in Dallas, Texas, until her retirement. Throughout her career she enjoyed traveling around the world and making many friends along the way. Among her closest friends were Carol Bunderla, Kathy Lust and Rosiland Wade. Margaret Earle's life will be remembered in a public graveside ceremony at Pinewood Memorial Park on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 11 a.m. She will be interred beside her mother and father.
