Robert Trucks

Robert Trucks, age 75, of the Trucksville community near Rison, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, August 20, 2017 at his home. Mr. Trucks was born February 26, 1942 in Rison, Arkansas, to the late A.E. and Charlotte Blackstock Trucks. He was owner of Trucks & Sons and a life-long member of Rison Baptist Church. Robert was a devoted father and a dear friend to all. In addition to his parents, Mr. Trucks was preceded in death by his wife of forty-nine years, Barbara Glover Trucks; two brothers, John Edward Trucks, James David Trucks and one brother-in-law, Mack Hudson. He is survived by two sons, Bryan Trucks of Bentonville, Chris Trucks of Trucksville; one daughter, Christie Walls of White Hall; six grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Rison Baptist Church in Rison with Brother Danny Allen and Brother Wade Totty officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Trucksville. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the church. Funeral arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison. www.buiefuneralhome.com.
