Darlene Joan Harrison

Darlene Joan Harrison, 77, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017. She was born on August 18, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri to Raymond and Esther Klausmeyer. After relocating to Little Rock, Darlene became an active member of the community through St. James United Methodist Church and by volunteering at Heifer International. Her professional career was in both education and parks and recreation within the Greater St. Louis area. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Ronald Harrison; her parents; sister, Mary Morgan and brother, Daniel Klausmeyer. Darlene is survived by her son, Scott Harrison and his wife Rebecca Thayer and their children of Issaquah, Washington; her daughter,Dawn and her husband Chris Plank and their children of Little Rock; sisters, Gloria Morgan of Wentzville, Missouri; Sharon Klausmeyer-Shafffer of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Linda Merlenbach of Mesa, Arizona; and by many loving nieces and nephews.
